In its golden jubilee year, NIT-Trichy wants to celebrate International Women’s Day, by bringing the extremely skilled talent pool, comprising of designers and developers, to create technology that touches lives. Your job? To build an application that addresses everyday issues faced by women in India, one that helps empower women. 

National Institute of Technology, Trichy (NIT-T) in association with SAP Labs India brings to you "APP.ly - Code to Empower her". A 2-day event supported by various NGOs, it is aimed at celebrating the power of women through technology. 

Participants can choose from 3 categories:

• Mobile App 

• Web App 

• Visualization 

Team size : 1 to 4 members

The partnering NGOs will help the participants understand some of the problems today that can be solved through technology. Participants can use these inputs to come up with ideas or rely on their own. 

There are attractive prizes for the top Apps.

Additionally, One team in the hackathon will be chosen by Great Value Fund LLP (Angel Investor) to receive an initial seed funding of 5 Lakh INR to bootstrap their idea if applicable.
