Node.js hacknight
JavaScript has progressed from being the language we were forced to use on the browser to the language we choose to use on the server. Since the inception of node.js back in 2009, JavaScript has converted many stalwart developers thanks to it's asynchronous paradigm, the vibrant ecosystem of open source modules and projects built on it and, above all, the convenience of having the same language on both the client and the server.
With all the excitement around this particular technology and the new possibilities that it has brought to the industry, we are sure there are many who have war stories to share as well as many who are waiting to dive deep down into it. HasGeek welcomes you to the Node.js hacknight. Come over with your laptops, learn from the masters, keep your brains chugging with drinks and snacks, and hack all through the night!
What is a hacknight?
Hacknight is a space where you can work on your pet project, try a new idea or test the waters of new tools, technologies and languages. At hacknights, you meet new people, make friends and network. Overall, a hacknight is an amazing, hands-on learning experience. HasGeek's hacknights provide developers the opportunity to work in an easy, relaxed, peer-to-peer environment, over a period of 12-20 hours.
This hacknight is a part of JSFoo 2013, our annual JavaScript conference.
