2013 Aaron Swartz Day

Aaron Swartz took his life on Jan 11, 2013. The hacknight we organized in his memory this January had nearly thirty geeks working on a variety of projects relating to free access to information.

Aaron's birthday is on November 8. He would have been 27. To ensure his memory remains alive and in the sprit of the causes he stood for, friends and well wishers are organizing hackathons around the world on his birthday. Join us for an evening of hacking on causes that you care about. We are open from 4 PM until as long as you want to stay up and hack.
