Droidcon Hackathon

The Droidcon hackathon is part of Droidcon India 2013. It starts at 6:30 PM on Friday, 29th November and ends at 6:30 PM on Saturday, 30th November with demos and prizes. 

Participants can develop apps around any one of the following themes:

1. Personal productivity
2. Wellness
3. Communications (involving voice, text or speech)

Teams can be formed before the hackathon, or at the hackathon itself. We encourage a mix of skills in each team: design, business development and engineering.  Maximum team size is four members.

Apps will be judged – on a scale of 1-10 – according to the following criteria:

• Innovation
• Adherence to design standards
• Potential to generate revenue
• Presentation skill
• Judges' evaluation

Bonus points will be awarded to those teams who integrate Sony's / Amazon's / Intel's APIs/tools/services.

Prizes at the Droidcon hackathon are sponsored by Intel, Sony and Amazon. You can win Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Kindle Fire and goodies from Sony.
