When you apply to a hacknight and the moderator reviews and approves you, there is no notification sent to you about this. Similarly, when you propose a project and someone joins or leaves a comment, you do not get notified.
We had left this as a future todo feature when originally building Hacknight, and now is the best time to get it done.
Other enhancements: login with LinkedIn and have that shown on your profile; verify your phone number with Twilio.
Comment notifications should be working now.
